COMMUNICATION ON THE NEW CERTIFIED ECOSYSTEM OF EDUNIVERSAL

For more than two decades, Eduniversal has dedicated its efforts to promoting academic excellence worldwide. With the support of its International Scientific Committee, Eduniversal has successfully built one of the most recognized ecosystems for business education, ranking over 1,000 of the best business schools across 153 countries through its Palmes of Excellence.
This achievement has been possible thanks to an extensive evaluation methodology, continuous data collection, and system maintenance, all made available to institutions at no cost. Over the years, our ecosystem has also been enriched by dedicated platforms such as Eduniversal-ranking.com and Best-masters.com, which have guided more than 8 million students worldwide in choosing the most relevant academic paths.
A New Step Forward (2025–2028)
As business education continues to expand - with the number of business schools worldwide having increased significantly in the past two decades - the Eduniversal Scientific Committee has recommended an ambitious and forward-looking initiative. Beginning in 2025, and over the course of the next four years, Eduniversal will extend its ranking coverage from 1,000 to 2,000 institutions worldwide.
This expansion will rely on a refined methodology enhanced by AI-driven analytics, ensuring that the Palmes of Excellence remain a global benchmark of credibility, visibility, and recognition for institutions and their programs.
A New Model to Strengthen and Protect Excellence
To better serve institutions and safeguard the reputation of the Eduniversal ecosystem, we are introducing a revised framework of certification that includes:
- Eduniversal License Packs: enabling institutions to access an extended range of services such as updated logos, promotional tools, and the right to use Eduniversal’s brands and platforms (including Edu-ranking) to highlight their programs.
- Secured Palme Levels: institutions may protect their current Palme of Excellence level for a period of three years, until their next official evaluation.
- Evaluation Services: institutions may request a new evaluation at any time. Evaluations will continue to be overseen by the independent Scientific Committee, which may decide to upgrade, maintain, or downgrade the Palme levels. A contribution fee will apply to cover the collection, comparison, and analysis of data provided by the institution.
Transition Period (2025–2027)
To ensure a smooth transition:
- All institutions will be able to continue using their current Palme status for a period of three years, regardless of licensing status. But they will not have the right to use the new brand universe including new logos and materials.
- At any moment, schools may choose to join the Eduniversal Certified Ecosystem to benefit from its services and protections.
Looking Ahead
This evolution reflects Eduniversal’s mission to continuously adapt to the needs of institutions, students, and global academic stakeholders. By strengthening our model, we ensure that the recognition of your academic excellence remains protected, relevant, and integrated into emerging technologies, including AI-driven educational tools and Large Language Models (LLMs).
We are confident this new stage will further reinforce the value of your Palme of Excellence and your international visibility within the Eduniversal ecosystem.
We remain at your full disposal for any clarification and will be delighted to guide you through the next steps.
With warm regards,
