The recently restructured School of Business at the American University in Cairo has an ambitious vision for the future. We are passionate about the opportunities we wish to seize and rational about the challenges we expect to face. Our different constituencies – undergraduate, graduate students and executives – lie at the core of our planning. Our aim is to equip them with the skills required for excellence in an increasingly global and competitive marketplace.
During the coming period, we will focus on three main values: entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership. These are timely qualities that are necessary for societal development at both the individual and organizational levels. The world at large, and our region in particular, is hungry for change agents who can make a difference.
The School of Business is well positioned to be the principal generator of individuals of this caliber. Our aim is to produce leaders who can adapt to global changes and transform their organizations so that they are able to compete at the highest levels through sharing experiences as well as disseminating knowledge and intellectual content.
